Neighborhood Senior Care is committed to providing high quality and trusted services when it becomes difficult for individuals to accomplish activities of daily living on their own. Our services provide a desirable alternative for individuals who want to stay in the serenity of their own home while avoiding the high cost of "assisted living" in a residential care facility. Our help at home will bring a secure and effective way to enjoy life in their own environment for a long time to come.

With this in mind and based on life-long experience in the home healthcare and home help industry, the leadership of Associated Home Health Nurses of America, Inc. (AHHNA), created Neighborhood Senior Care; a specialized division exclusively dedicated to helping individuals stay independent in their homes. Its mission is to deliver in-home assistance with quality, timely, and cost-effective care services to those who are recovering, rehabilitating, convalescing, or recuperating from injury or illness, or living with a condition such as Alzheimer's, TB, Cancer, Arthritis etc. and need assistance with activities of daily living. It also provides service to those who would just like to take it a little easier. The company only employs the finest, responsible, and qualified home care personnel available, trained to maintain the dignity, safety, comfort and happiness of the clients.

We are an established family-owned business with 45 years of hands-on experience in home-health and home-help care. We have continually designed and adjusted our in-home built software over the last fifteen years to provide for the most compatible care. Our service and billing systems do not allow service without billing, or billing without service. We believe we are well-organized "doers" who deliver what we promise. Our expertise is based on servicing tens of thousands of clients.

Executive Management

Marie J. Temmink, RN, PHN. - Owner and Founder.

Marie has been active in the healthcare environment for over 45 years. Her background encompasses a broad range of home health care and related disciplines. Whether as a visiting home-health nurse, administrator of large metropolitan nursing homes, director of a multi-state region for a national home-health organization, or a public health nurse for the state of California, her philosophy has always been and still is for her company: "...at one time or another in our lives we all may become recipients of the care we are now providing to others, and I want that to be the best care possible".

Daphne McCloskey-Temmink, BSEE - Executive Director and Chief Informational Officer. Daphne is Marie's daughter and co-owner.

• Daphne holds a degree in electrical engineering which allowed her to develop the company's unique proprietary software that is capable of reacting immediately to ever-changing needs from clients, as well as government requirements.
• The system also guarantees the delivery of services within established quality standards and parameters.
• Daphne's ability to apply her technical mind to the service industry has created business and service solutions that don't settle for less than quality outcome. This helps coordinators to focus on the human elements of client and staff relations, and use their skills exclusively in the process of delivering the best care possible.

Colette M. Temmink - Chief Financial Officer, Special Operations Advisor and Board Member. Daughter of Marie and co-owner.

Colette has served on the Board of Directors since 1992 and has provided governance in operations since the company's inception. Colette holds an MBA in finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in international business. She is also a Vice President of Johnson Controls and a licensed real estate broker in California. Along with being an active member of the community, she has been listed in The International Who's Who of Women, The Sixth Edition of 2,000 Notable American Women, 40 under 40, and Commercial Property News 2003: Stars to Watch.
